Strawberry Ghosts
Ingredients:
30 fresh strawberries
1 teaspoon shortening
⅛ teaspoon almond extract
¼ cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 ounces white baking chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
Wash strawberries and gently pat with paper towels until completely dry.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate and shortening at 50% power and stir until smooth. Then, stir in the extract.
Dip strawberries in the chocolate mixture.
Place the dipped strawberries on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, allowing excess chocolate to form the ghosts' tails. Immediately press chocolate chips into the coating for the eyes.
Freeze for 5 minutes.
In the microwave, melt the remaining chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
Dip a toothpick into the melted chocolate and draw a mouth on each ghost. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Chocolate Dipped Halloween S'mores Pop
Ingredients:
Graham Crackers
Marshmallows
Chocolate Bar
Melting Chocolate
Shortening
Instructions:
Stack 1/2 of a graham cracker with a chocolate bar and marshmallow. Top with the remaining 1/2 graham cracker.
Place 2-3 on a paper plate and microwave for about 10 seconds – just long enough to slightly soften the chocolate and marshmallow.
While still warm, insert a popsicle stick into the marshmallows.
Place the s’mores on a wax paper-lined pan and put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This makes the pop firm for dipping.
Melt your dipping chocolate (you may use chocolate chips just make sure to add a little shortening to the chocolate to thin it down).
Dip each of your s’mores and shower with sprinkles while still wet. Place them to dry on waxed paper.

Candy Corn Pretzel Hugs
Ingredients:
24 circle or square-shaped pretzels
24 Hershey’s Kisses Hugs (or any flavor Kiss)
24 candy corn candies
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 250°F (121°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Align the pretzels on the sheet. Unwrap the Hugs and place one on each pretzel.
Stick the baking sheet in the oven until the Hugs begin to melt down. Mine takes about 4 minutes.
While the Hugs are melting in the oven, get your candy corn ready because you will have to move quickly once the pretzels are out of the oven.
Remove pretzel hugs from the oven and gently press the candy corn down on each one. The Hug should flatten out when you press the candy corn on it. If it is not flattening out, place the pretzel hugs back in the oven for 30 more seconds.
Let the pretzel hugs cool completely and let the chocolate set for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
