Materials Needed:
Aluminum Pan
Rubbing Alcohol (at least 70% but 91% or more works best)
Alcohol Markers (Sharpies, Ohuhu, Copic, etc.)
Plain White Tile (This can probably work with any light color of tile if you do not have white)
Camping Lighter (for distance)
Hot Glue Gun and Glue (not pictured)
Cork sheet (not pictured)
Clear Coat Spray Paint (not pictured)
Step 1: Take you tile, and color bold strokes of different hues across the tile.
Step 2: Place the colored tile into the aluminum pan.
Step 3: Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol over the tile in the pan.
Step 4: PLEASE USE PROPER SUPERVISION AND SAFETY WHEN USING FIRE
Light the rubbing alcohol on the tile on fire, and step back. The fire will burn itself out once the alcohol has dissipated.
Step 5: Allow to dry completely, then spray an even amount of clear coat over the tile to protect the surface. (Tip: Spray two coats for maximum protection from moisture)
Step 6: After your tile has completely dried, trace your tile onto the cork. Cut the traced sheep out of the cork sheet.
Step 7: Using hot glue, attach the cut out shape to the bottom of your tile.
Step 8: Enjoy your new coaster!
