Dreams are funny things. Some of them you forget as soon as you wake up and others you remember for forever because they are just so odd. These are our weirdest dreams that
have stuck with us that we wanted to share.
Into the Game
My weirdest dream happened to be video game themed even though I’m not a big video game player. When the dream started, I was Princess Peach in Super Mario Brothers. It was the original Super Mario Brothers, like the one from 1985. I was running from Bowser, but then he picked me up and threw me into the ocean. I ended up in the ocean of the mobile game Temple Run where I was running from the large Godzilla-like creature on the yellow brick map. I was still Princess Peach, but in the Temple Run game; I was collecting coins and jumping over logs and everything. If you’ve played the game, you know that the character can “trip” on one of the logs and the character will then get caught by the Godzilla creature. I (still as Princess Peach) tripped and got thrown again into the Animal Crossing map. I have never played Animal Crossing, but I’ve seen many let's-plays on YouTube and own a bunch of merchandise because I think the characters are absolutely adorable. I ended up in the beginning where you’re first dropped off on the island by the ship (I think ?) and then I was left to survive there as Princess Peach. All the little animal characters worshipped me as their princess and I was stuck in the game. It was a definitely weird dream and I woke up very confused. Thanks for reading about my dream!

Waves
My weirdest dream is one I have often, starting from when I was a small child. It started at one of the beaches I grew up on that had a sea wall instead of dunes. A huge tidal wave, similar to what you’d see in a cartoon, would come up and crash on me, and I had nowhere to run due to the sea wall. This dream would pop up about once a year, but when I was no longer a child, it started popping up in different ways. I’d be on a boat, look out at the horizon, and then suddenly a wave would appear in the distance. It would be exactly like the wave on one of the planets from the movie Interstellar, starting out as a blip far away but quickly becoming a huge wave towering over you. Every time I’d see water in a dream, the wave would appear, and over time it’s become a joke in my dreams. I will see water in a dream and think “Oh, I bet that wave is going to come!” Sure enough, it will then appear, and dream me will chuckle to myself.

Spooky Situation
I’m going to start off by saying I watched Jeepers Creepers when I was way too young and it has followed me for years. My weirdest dream started out with me waiting in the car for my mom (like I spent most of my teenage years). As I’m waiting, fog starts to gather around the house and it starts to get dark. I look up and there’s the creature (?) from Jeepers Creepers standing in front of the car. Me being an idiot in my dream, I only lock the doors but I never roll up the passenger side window. He comes to my side of the car, sticks his tongue through the crack of the window and licks my arm and says, “Mm you taste like chicken.” That’s it. That is all I remember but it still haunts me that I taste like chicken.
