Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 sticks or 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp matcha powder

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tsp bourbon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 3 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Melt the butter in the microwave for 1-2 minutes in 1 minute increments or on the stovetop.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and the matcha powder.

  4. Pour the melted butter over the white chocolate chips and matcha and mix until melted and combined. The mixture should be smooth with no lumps.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, add the granulated sugar and brown sugar.

  6. Pour the white.

  7. Sift the flour and salt into the mixture.

  8. Fold the ingredients using a rubber spatula until just combined. Try not to over mix!

  9. Pour the batter into the prepared 8x8 pan and bake at 350F for 20 minutes.

  10. When ready, remove the brownies from the oven and drop them on the counter 2 more times before allowing them to rest for 1 hour or until they reach room temperature.

  11. Remove the brownies from the pan by lifting on the parchment paper and slice them with a sharp knife, cleaning in between each cut.

  12. Enjoy!

The brownies were more green on the inside
