With the New Year here, it is time to reflect on what has brought us here, especially the ups and downs that have made us who we are. It is also time to remember the great times we had in the past year that can make our days!
Remember when during your birthday, you went out with your friends, or during July 4th, when you ate delicious barbecue while watching the fireworks? Whether it would be on Halloween, collecting more candy than you could finish in a year, or during Thanksgiving when your whole family came to eat your delicious turkey, or during the recent Christmas, when you got your new gifts and those great Christmas cookies, during all these great events, we sometimes also meet certain bitter experiences- ones we wish never happened- and think to ourselves, "Why did this happen to me?".
However, even while thinking about what you might consider terrible experiences, you must also remember that a new year can create a new you. You should not feel heartbreak or express disappointment, but rather cherish what these experiences made you and what they have given you when thinking about the end of this year. With 2024 around the corner, remember that the end is nowhere near and a new year is just the beginning of your victories that are yet to come.
It is always great to try new things, like baking, cooking, gaming, or even something as crazy as skydiving. Whatever you wish to try, I encourage you total advantage of your opportunities. If you look beyond 2023, you should see many stars and signs of happiness. To gloom over disappointments is okay, but it shouldn't be there to haunt the rest of your life. Remember that you need to have hope in the future, as one day you will have to leave this beautiful planet. Therefore, live your life to the fullest.
Another way to bring hope back is to meditate. Meditation will help you because it assists you in relaxing and it helps you believe that there is both good inside of you and good yet to come in this world. When things are going my way, I always meditate, and it makes me feel energized once again. Meditation will bring your hope back, and this will result in you being a happier person.
This new year, try something new, something you have never done before, and something that you may never have the chance to do again. Take time out of your regular duties and work to do something for your enjoyment. This coming year, 2024, will be filled with surprises, so take advantage of the ones you get. Happy New Year!!!
