Padlet | Organize Your Notes into a Digital Board

Padlet is an extremely effortless collaboration tool that makes organizing and homework made easier. It's a great way to place together websites, links, images, and notes into one virtual board. Not only is this site free (limited), but it also promotes social interaction, learning through language, and easy ways to understand text. This website only allows three boards on a free account, however, you can recycle and reuse these Padlets as you go!

To start, simply put into Safari or Google, "Padlet.com" to arrive on their home page. On the left-hand side, you can look around at the different uses that the website provides. You can then sign up for free using the pink button or log in if you already have an account.

Once you've signed up or logged in, click on the "Make a Padlet" button on your "Made" page. Right next to this button, there is a option to "Join a Padlet" using a link! There are many selections to choose from when making a Padlet, as shown in the picture. Next, I'll show the key features while using "Wall."

Once you've clicked on the format you're interested in, a handful of settings labeled "Modify" should appear on your right side. Here, you should change your title, add a description, and play around with your wallpaper, color scheme, and font using the icon on the left side of your title and description! What's remarkable about Padlet is that you can keep it as personal and colorful as you like or take a more professional neutral color approach. Click next once you're done modifying your Padlet and start posting! If you would like to go back to "Modifying" after you're done, click the three dots on the top right of your screen and pick Modify.

Click the button on the bottom right of your screen to add a post. You can also take, search, or upload a picture and link a text or image. There are also other features that you can play around with, such as a video and audio recorder. Once you're done, click publish and watch your thoughts become a post-it.

Here's my (sample) final product! As you post more stickers, you'll be able to organize them or stack them on top of each other. With your own personal touch, you can create this Padlet to be your daily journal, reminder, notes, or project. Padlet is a great opportunity to organize and impress your peers!
