It's the beginning of a new month which means new a new BuJo spread !
A new month equals a new cover photo ! I really like snails and found an image on Pinterest of a snail on mushrooms, so I ran with it. I drew it in a circle which seemed similar to a planet to me for some reason. Since it seemed like a planet, I decided to make it one and complete the theme.
I've always loved puzzles, so when I had this idea I knew I had to do it. I had previously made a puzzle out of a picture using this puzzle template off of Google. I was thinking of other ways to use the template and thought of using it in my BuJo.
I keep the same format for my sleep log each month and only change the color theming. Since it's in between summer and fall, I felt like green would be appropriate. Bright lime green brings about the cheerfulness of summer while a darker olive green brings about fall vibes.
I've always been into Zentangle doodles, but I've recently started doing Mandalas. I initially just had the lines, but something was missing, so I decided to add some Mandalas. I've been drawing mandalas since I was 12 years old, so this was a fun and quick process.
This is by far my favorite page this month ! I love all sea animals, but especially walruses, seals, otters, and axolotls. I was inspired by the addition of axolotls to Minecraft back in June.
