Hello to all my foodies out there! It's summer time and with that comes great weather, we hope, and the chance to get out more and enjoy life. One of my favorite things to do over the summer is to go out and try new restaurants.
From trying new types of food, to going back to my favorites, it's always a great experience, especially with friends and family. Here are the top 6 places I would recommend you try!
Just in the Sun Valley shopping center, I just found out about Kaizoku. I love a good poke bowl, and all the fresh ingredients make it even better. Plus the sushi, need a say more. You can never go wrong with sushi, well maybe you can, but Kaizoku does a pretty good job.
My next thing try in the Udon soups there, fingers crossed.

Located in Indian Trail off of Highway 74, you can find The Donut House. This is for all my sweet tooth lovers out there. They have a great selection on donuts, all made in house and fresh that day. My favorite are those Cinnamon Twists, heaven!
So the next time your close, stop by and try a donut... or two... or three.

If you've ever wanted to try Korean BBQ, 704 Korean BBQ is the place to go. The food, atmosphere and music are great here. It is great spot to take friends and family, you get to prepare you whole meal right at your table, and it's an interesting experience if you haven't tried it. I keep going back!
It's a bit of a drive into Charlottle, but so worth it!

Optimist Hall has a very pleasant industrial feel, which I love. If you haven't been already, it is great for foodies that want to try many different types of food or drinks all in one place.
So far my favorite has been the Botiwalla Indian Street Grill. If your ever come here, try the Gobi 65 on the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Located in Matthews, Cantina Louie was a wonderful experience. I loved the decor, wall art, and just the vibe of everything. The staff and food were both great. I tried my favorite dish, the Chimichanga with chicken, and I have to say I really enjoyed it.
Definitely have to go back and try other things on the menu.

Jinya Ramen Bar is the newest place I have found, and let me say it was amazing! I'm a big ramen fan and finding this place was great. They did the noodles just right, not to soft or hard. That's a big deal! (LOL) The menu is large, the food very flavorful, and the service was great.
Try the Jalapeno Butter Corn appetizer, yum!
