Being organized is one of the few things that keep humans on track. When we are disorganized, we become stressed and exhausted. With the start of a new year, you should begin charting a path toward organization. There are many benefits from organization, but it will primarily boost productivity, provide more sleep, and increases your happiness.


Learning how to become organized first requires you to find your learning style. There are three main types of learning: visual, auditory, and tactile. If you are a visual learner, you should sit at the front of the class, use flashcards to study, visualize everything you read and hear, write down your ideas, color code notes, and avoid distractions. If you are an auditory learner, sit where you can hear, read out flashcards to study, and read everything out loud. Lastly, if you are a tactile learner, you should do hands-on learning activities, take frequent short study breaks, and learn through doing. Using these tips will allow you to become more productive due to being concentrated on things that will help you stay focused and organized while studying.


When you are organized during the day, you are less stressed when it comes time for bed. Prioritizing what's most important is what helps to keep you organized. Once you prioritize sleep, you may find that other things become much easier. When you're not exhausted, you have more motivation to do more things. This will require a sleep schedule. Teenagers need eight hours of sleep every night. Once you have established a sleep schedule, you might find your life and organization becomes a little easier.


Being organized also causes less stress, which boosts serotonin levels and affects your overall happiness. Being surrounded by schedules is something you can always rely on. Time management and prioritization cause organization, allowing more time for things that make you happy. Instead of procrastinating, do work.
