Have you ever wondered if it possible to turn your dreams and goals into reality?
I think it is defiantly possible! It’s called manifestation. For those of you that don’t know what that means, it's an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea. But just thinking about an idea, doesn’t mean it will come to reality. It takes some hard work and thinking on your part to see it through.
That’s where a vision board comes in. Vision boards, created with images or words on a poster board, help you visualize their intentions, what you want to do or achieve. By placing your vision board where you can frequently see it, you take steps towards making that idea come true.
It’s a new year, when most people try to do something different, it’s good to have visualization on your goals. No matter what they are: to learn a new skill, be more patient, travel more, to find a better job, or to simply be a better version of yourself. A vision board is a great tool to have during your journey.
So where do you begin? First, think about what matters to you most. Look at yourself and find one or two things that you really want to change and focus on. Then, decide if your vision board should show your short-term or long-term changes. For me, I generally go with a yearly vision board, its much easier to track my progress.
Now that you have an idea or goal in mind, here is what you will need:
Poster board
Stack of magazines or print out images
Scissors
Fun markers, stickers
Tape or glue sticks
There are really no rules when it comes to vision boards, since it's about crafting something that will inspire you to realize your dreams and goals. Whether you're trying to make one goal come true this year or many, big or small, vision boards are great for what you might want the future to look like.
