YA Books to Read at Midnight(s)

She's done it again.

On October 21st Taylor Swift released Midnights, her latest pop album and certified masterpiece, and I haven't slept since. No, seriously, I was awake until 4 a.m. on release night just crying and hitting play over and over and over again.

The album discusses so many different themes, from self-loathing, to romance, to privacy, to heartbreaking loss, to discovery of self. The stories told on this album are quite beautiful, and as someone who loves stories I thought hm... let me be chaotic and match them to some books.

So that's what this is: the stories of sleepless nights matched with their YA counterparts. All of these books are available for check out at any of the Union County Library branches if you have a UCL card, and some of them are also available digitally through Libby or Hoopla. Read and listen away!
